Meet Christy Clark-Weber

Christy Clark-Weber, Broker & Owner of Southern  Heritage Realty for over 20 years located in historic downtown Winter Garden FL.

In 1989 Christy started working for a custom home builder Exclusive Homes who developed many of South West Orlando’s neighborhoods. The custom home building experience jump-started Christy into working with buyers and sellers in what she calls her “Smooth Move Program”.  This helps sellers become new home buyers with as little stress as possible.

Southern Heritage Realty, Inc. was created in 1997. The office is located at 34 E. Plant Street in Historic Winter Garden.  Christy worked very closely with Mark Clayton Custom Homes in the Tuscany neighborhood in Winter Garden, joining Mark Clayton and several custom and reproduction builders to open Magnolia Pointe, a gated Lakefront community in Clermont.

Through all of these efforts, Christy became one of the Top 100 Realtors in the Master Custom Builder Association. I am the oldest of four children, was born in Cherry Pointe North Carolina at a Marine Base housing development. Her father, Jim Clark, worked as a Marine Navigation Specialist for the flying tigers in the 1960s. Ruth & Jim Clark then moved back to Windermere, Florida where they raised Christy and her sister’s Sherrie & Patty and brother Jim Clark.  Christy loved horses and drama classes growing and graduated from West Orange High School in 1978.  She then continued her education and earned an Associates of Arts degree at Valencia Community College. She completed her four-year Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Central Florida and majored in Communications.  The many charities Christy has supported include Homes for the Poor, the Harvest Food Bank, Local Police, Fire Department, and Paramedics. She is married to husband Richard Weber, a custom home painter, and has one daughter Samantha Weber (22), who is currently obtaining her real estate license and will be joining Southern Heritage Realty, Inc. in August of 2017.
